Phyllis Danieli MacIsaac has over 30 years experience working with corporations, associations, conference and show organizers, and exhibitors on all aspects of event planning, measurement and analysis. Ms. MacIsaac works with clients to evaluate and develop new approaches to event strategy and design effective methodologies for improved results.
Phyllis has worked with many world-class companies, including Adobe, BellSouth, RSA Security-RSA Conference, Coca Cola, Lotus, Garter, Qualcomm, Apple, Hewlett Packard, ACM, Data General, Banyan, and IDC to integrate corporate marketing objectives with event activities. She is an expert in the development of marketing events such as conferences, user group meetings, trade shows as well as in measurement and analysis of return on investment in these types of events.
MacIsaac was President and Founder of Danieli & O’Keefe Associates, Inc., an event management firm based in Sudbury, Massachusetts. Nth Degree acquired Danieli & O’Keefe in 1996. Working with key accounts Phyllis became a major participant in the development of the Events Group at Nth Degree from 1996-2009.
Ms. MacIsaac also has taken an active role in the events industry. She was a key participant in the formation of the Computer Event Marketing Association (CEMA). She played a key role in the development of the association and then as strategic advisor for over 11 years. Ms. MacIsaac is the author of many trade publication articles and has made numerous presentations on conference and event planning.

o Worked with Lotus Development since 1986 helping to form Lotus Week, created Lotus World, which then became the catalysts for Lotusphere. Initiated and managed the first Lotus Notes User Group.
o Supported Apple with the Apple Developers Conference, WWDC, for over seven years, to manage and enhance the overall conference operations.
o From 1979-1982, she managed the conference logistics, advertising and promotion for the Federal Computer Conference and the Federal Office Automation Conference, two major conferences and expositions produced.
o Led a small group of event marketing managers in the development of the Computer Event Marketing Association. CEMA is now in its 22th year.
o Many years of experience with user groups, bootstrapping user groups as independent organizations, developing user and developer conferences. She managed conferences for groups such as, Data General, Banyan, Lotus Notes and Sequent.
o Danieli & O’Keefe Associates managed IBM Technical Interchange for over five years.
o Managed the Hewlett Packard Developer Conference for four years.
o Provided consulting and management services for Gartner Symposium ITXPO and Gartner Vision Events for seven years.
o Performed measurement and analysis services for the trade show program for Adobe Systems.
o She provided competitive analysis and conference evaluation and continuous improvement services for the RSA Conference for over five years.
o Provided incentive program research and evaluation and event measurement for BellSouth.
o Active in trade show marketing evaluation and continuous improvement programs for Coca Cola.
o Conducted annual market research and conference evaluation for QUALCOMM, BREW and UPLINQ.
o Provided yearly exposition evaluations for IBM Rational and SolidWorks World.
