Definition of “event”

c: a social occasion or activity
In our context, events are a noteworthy, social occurrence or activity, produced in the pursuit of business improvement.
Four Main Types of Events:
1: External events (Market facing)
2: Internal Events (Employee facing)
3: Channel Events (Channel facing)
4: Other Types of Events (Influencer and environmental interfacing events.)
External Events include: tradeshows, seminars, road shows, launches, use developer and other signature conferences and events,
customer and executive hospitality, sponsorships, sports marketing.
Internal Events include: Executive and Leadership Conferences, Sales Conferences, Sales Motivation and Incentive, including travel,
Channel Conferences and all types of meetings.
Channel Events include: Dealer, Distributor and other channel conferences, and may include hybrid conferences with the host's internal
sales force and other management.
Other Events include: Events for Influencers such as Analysts, Stockholders, Community Affairs oriented events, etc.
